Peter G. Arsenault, beloved husband of Lorraine, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 16, 2022, following a brief illness. He was married to the love of his life for over seventy years and was the best dad to five children who celebrate a life well lived.
“Bugs” was born 98 years ago in Rumford, Maine. A proud Merchant Mariner, he served in the Pacific before returning to attend the University of Maine where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. This career took him around the country and proved to be a grand adventure for the entire family.
He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Josephine and siblings, Vincent, Walter, Barbara and Bernice. He is survived by his wife Lorraine and children Pamela (George), Leslie (Bob), Michelle (Michael), Peter (Linda) and Melissa (Rick). His days were brightened by his grandchildren Rebecca, Joshua, Jeremy, Rene, Danielle, Bambi, Sunny, Derek and Ryan.
There are no calling hours and honors at Sarasota Veterans Cemetery will be held at a future date.
