Peter A. Murray, 62, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Bronxville, NY, died July 24, 2012.
Born in New York City, NY, he moved to Florida in 1975 from Bronxville. He worked as a motorcycle mechanic at Haps Honda for many years.
He is survived by his former wife and companion, Paula; a sister, Patti (Frank) Sparrer of Whitehouse Station, NJ; a nephew, Christopher (Julie) Sparrer and a great niece, Devyn.
He was preceded in death by his niece, Jennifer Sparrer.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday evening, July 28, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home in Sarasota and will commence with a Memorial Ride at 5:00pm from Haps Honda to the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to The Brain Tumor Foundation, The Teddy Bear Run for children, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
