So sorry to hear of Mrs. Zeve's passing. I remember her and all of your family with fond memories of my childhood and seeing you from our back yard. My condolences to Mr. Zeve, Denise and Barbara. I remember our engagement and the Daily News and see that special engagement ring on Diane every day. Also remember visiting Sandy at the top of the corner by your house. I am sending our thoughts and prayers to all of you and wish you peace.

Yesterday, when I heard that Phyllis had died, a flood of emotions and memories came over me that was unexpected but all so happy. My mind flashed back to growing up in Yonkers and all the special parts of my childhood there. Phyllis and Murray, Denise and Barbara, YOU were a central part of those memories.
From birthday parties to Dance Recital celebrations, they were front and center.
I loved going to your house Phyllis and Murray. It was a place of wonder to go into the darkroom to see how photos developed. Phyllis' lunches were great too! Grilled Cheese and those tiny lamb chops! What a Treat!
Can't forget our rides to Carvel!! I remember us chanting "I scream, You scream, We all scream for ICE CREAM!!!" in the back of the station wagon.
At your house, I learned about Hanukkah, Passover! In return, I taught Barbara to say the Our Father.
Phyllis will be missed but her smiling and caring heart still lives on in many. Including me. I am a better person today to have known her. Please accept my condolences. I pray that God's peace rule your heart and thoughts through these difficult times. I love you all!
