He is survived by his loving children, Diane Winkelhaus (John) of Greenville, SC, Daniel Figler (Richard Westwood), David Figler (Janet) Newington, CT and Debbie Dorman (Paul Gaioni) of East Granby, CT; and his grandchildren, Ryan and Amber Maefs, Derek and Deanna Dorman and Steven Figler.
Dick enjoyed living by the beach, traveling and all outdoor sports.
Services were held in Florida.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
