Rilla Fleming

Rilla was the beloved daughter of the late James Hampton Fleming and Beverly Hargis Fleming. She is remembered fondly by her siblings, Brenda Marie Fleming and Damon Overton and companion Bernie Peacock. She was predeceased by her brother, Steven Fleming.

Rilla’s legacy lives on through her children: Rose Marie Barrett (married to Tracy Thorne), Stephanie Christine Plusser (married to Loren Plusser), David Hampton Cobb, Beverly Ann Cobb (married to Kara Cobb), and Lloyd Edward Eldridge II. She was a proud grandmother to Mariah, Cierra, Lloyd Edward Eldridge III, Malachi, Ezekiel, Henley, Jesslyn, Kaitlyn, Kayla, Aallana, and Torrie. Her love extended even further to her seven great-grandchildren—with the addition of great granddaughter Marigold.

Known for her loving and giving nature, Rilla touched the lives of all who knew her with her kind heart and generous spirit. Her warmth and compassion will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those she held dear.

May Rilla’s memory bring comfort and peace to her family and friends during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday November 9th 2p-6p, at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens, located at 170 Honore Ave Sarasota, Florida 34232.
