Rio and Kiylan Galliher

Rio, 2 years old, loved trucks of every sort and size. He also enjoyed swimming, playing at the beach, digging in the dirt and being with his family. Kiylan, 5 months old, loved eating/his bottles. He also enjoyed rolling over, cuddling with his momma, laughing and interacting with his family. Rio and Kiylan brought so much joy and light to everyone they touched. They are deeply missed.

Visitation for Rio and Kiylan will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Bayside Community Church, 3375 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL 34237, followed by a funeral service at 1:00PM. Please note: the family has requested that no children under the age of 10 attend the visitation or funeral, with the exception of family.

In addition to their parents, Rio and Kiylan are survived by their siblings: Auburnn, Ronni, Dominik, Marleigh, Rayvinn, Kamyah and Joslyn Galliher; grandparents: Kristi Casey and Jessica Galliher; great-grandparents: Richard Casey, Reba Casey, Dennis Galliher and Candice McCormick; aunts: Hope McIntosh, Maya, and Makenzie Galliher; and many other extended family that love them very much.

Rio and Kiylan’s family would like to thank all first responders, police, EMT; doctors, nurses, medical and non-medical staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital; doctors, nurses, medical and non-medical staff at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital; Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park; and all of those involved in the immediate and incredible care provided for Rio and Kiylan.
