Robert graduated from Todd County Central High School. He then attended college at Western Kentucky University. Robert served in the US Army. He was an avid golfer.
Robert is survived by his wife, Grace Gilliam and nephew, James Johnson. He is predeceased by his parents, James and Nellentine Gilliam and his sister, Barbara Johnson.
Services will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2024 at 11:30AM, Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, Florida 34241
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any veterans organizations.
