Prior to retirement in 1990, he was employed for 37 years by Western Electric Company. Mr. Lesak was a US Marine Corps veteran, an avid golfer, enjoyed going to the beach and playing the organ.
Mr. Lesak was preceded in death by his sisters Eleanor Wild and Lillian Lesak. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Amelia J. "Micki" Lesak of Bluffton, SC, two daughters, Deborah A. Lesak of Bluffton, SC and Donna M. Lesak of Bradenton, FL and niece Joanne (Wild) Murtha of Hazlet, NJ. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by family and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 8, 2016 from 2-5pm at Palms Robarts Funeral Home; 170 Honore Ave in Sarasota, FL. A Funeral Mass for Mr. Lesak will take place on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11am at the Church of St. Patrick; 7900 Bee Ridge Rd, in Sarasota, FL. Burial will follow the service at Sarasota National Cemetery.
