Robert Lawrence Price

Born on April 2, 1931, in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of George D. and Muriel W. Price. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

Bob worked for Ralston Purina as a District Manager for about 14 years. Prior to that, he was an independent food broker. He loved games… any game. Whether on the playing field, or at a card table or even in sales, he loved the thrill of competition. Bob was also passionate about his faith and his family. Bob served for years as an elder for the First Presbyterian Church in Liverpool, NY and when he and Diane moved to Florida permanently, he continued to generously serve at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Sarasota.

Bob Price is preceded in death by his parents George and Muriel Price, his sister Ruth Ulmen, and niece Susan Ulmen.

He is survived by his loving wife Diane Price of 70 years of marriage; son Steven Price (wife Dawn) and daughter Penny Johnston (husband R. Michael); grandchildren Thomas Cunningham (Sarah), David Cunningham (Jennifer), Kiah Price, and Ian Price; great grandchildren Ashley Cunningham, Tyson Cunningham, Alexis Cunningham, Hunter Cunningham, Blake Cunningham, Peyton Cunningham, and Weston Cunningham.

A celebration of life will be held at Northminster Presbyterian Church on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at 3131 61st Street, Sarasota, FL. A private interment service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
