Robert Ralston Price Jr.

Robert was born on May 15, 1941 in Coalwood, West Viriginia. He was the son of Helen Rogers and Robert R Price Sr.

He started his working career as a Spanish teacher after receiving his master’s degree from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. Later in his life, he began selling cable converters with his brother, Ben. Robert’s interest then peaked to all aspects of the cable industry and he began his own company, NC II, which he owned for 40 years. NC II sold most anything that was needed to make cable run.

When Robert was not working as a selling broker for his business, he could be found playing pool. Billiards was a great passion of his. He collected many pool related artifacts, built many friendships, and played as often as he could.

He predeceased in death by his parents, Robert Sr and Helen; daughter, Stacey; and brothers, Bart and Bill.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary; daughter, Rebecca Price; grandchildren, Jessica White, Michael White, Caterina Price, and Adalyn Price; one great grandson, Lucas White; siblings, Ben Price, Patty Rock, and Elaine Powers; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232, US, on October 14, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Following the funeral service, a Committal Service will take place at Palms Memorial Park and Cremation Gardens,from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with Catered Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tidewell Hospice of Sarasota, the ASPCA, or any animal charity of your choice.
