Robert was born January 1, 1945. “Bob" is survived by 4 children Rob Rasmussen of Sarasota, FL, Dean Rasmussen of Sarasota, FL, Dawn Rasmussen of Sarasota, FL and Shelly Adams of League City, TX Eight grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren. Sister Linda Kis of Sarasota, FL, Brother Chris Rasmussen of Sarasota,FL and Brother John Rasmussen of Venice FL. Many nieces and nephews.
He was a Veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps (1964-1968) and was awarded the Expert Rifle Badge.
A graveside service for Bob will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
