Bobby Walker meant the world to so many people. He was “Bobby”, the guy that everyone could count on. He had a smile that could light up any room and a heart of gold. His patience and kindness will never be forgotten.
Bobby was a Sarasota native that graduated in 2001 from Booker High School. He worked for Sarasota County Government for over 20 years. He was an active member at Twin Lakes where his sons play baseball for Sarasota Little League.
Bobby loved his family whole heartedly. The Walkers did everything together and were as close as any family could ever get. Bobby loved cooking with his mommy for family night dinners. He was her little boy and always gave her the biggest hugs. Bobby and his dad were “best buddies.” They had a father/son relationship that most dads could only dream of. They had the longest running winning record in their fantasy football league. In fact, the league requested they separate every season, but they never would because they were a team and did everything together.
Bobby and his sisters had an unbreakable bond. He was their biggest protector and their best friend. They loved spending time together laughing and reminiscing about their childhood memories, while creating new memories each week all together with their own kids. He was the best “uncle Bobby,” “Bobbo,” “uncle,” and “Junior.” Bobby had a special connection with each of his four nephews.
Bobby had a core group of childhood friends that were his brothers. No matter what happened in their lives, they were always there for each other. He would do anything for them, but then that was Bobby. He would drop anything to help anyone he could.
Bobby met his soul mate and love of his life in 2005. They were built for each other and had an effortless love. Bobby and Randi married in 2008. Through hard work they built a life that they considered to be their own piece of paradise. In 2011 they welcomed twin sons into the world, making their family complete. Their foundation will continue to be the greatest love story this world has ever seen.
Bobby was a great dad. His boys meant the world to him and they shared a love for all of the things their daddy loved. Every night, Bobby made sure to tuck them in with three simple words, “Best Buds Forever”.
The Bobby sized hole left in the hearts of his family will be never be filled.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years Randi; his two sons Brooks and Ryne; grandmother Sandra Walker; parents Bob and Diana Walker; sister Heather Mushrush (Matt); sister Christie Lutz (Sam); nephews Aaron Mushrush, Jake Mushrush, Jaxson Parker, and Chase Lutz; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; his California family; his Michigan family; as well as countless friends that became family through the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Big Top Brewing Company, 975 Cattlemen Rd, Sarasota, FL 34232.
