Robert "Eddie" Edward Wooster

He graduated from Druid Hills High School in 1975, and moved to Sarasota where he went on to own Wooster’s Flooring, and EcoTurf of Florida. He was also a member of the Elks, and is remembered for his activities with local bands.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Betty June. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Elizabeth Garman Wooster (Betsy); son, Sgt. Jesse Lee Wooster of the US Army – stationed in Hawaii; daughter-in-law, Mayra; daughter Holly Jane Wooster, of Sarasota; granddaughters Barbie and Brindi; sister, Lynn Miller, of Quitman, GA; brother, Kevin Wooster (Laura), of Sarasota; and nieces & nephews, Sarah, Daniel, Joshua, Jessica, Corey, Brittany, Chris, Winonna, & Nehemiah.

A funeral service for Eddie will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A committal service will occur Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. A visitation will occur Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232.
