He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on January 1st, 1944, to Edward and Margaret Molnar. He attended Loyola University for his undergraduate degree and Northwestern University for dental school.
He was married to Judith Molnar on July 19th, 1969.
Roger initially served as a Captain in the Air Force before moving to Sarasota, where he worked in private practice as a dentist for over 40 years. He had a passion for health, fitness, building models, travel and most importantly, his family.
He is survived by his wife, Judy, his daughter, Jamie Molnar and her husband Pete, his son Evan Molnar and his wife Cathy, his two granddaughters, Lana and Lucia, his sister Gail Torres of Pensacola and his brother George Molnar of San Francisco.
A private ceremony for the family will be held at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 24th from 4pm-6pm at The Club House in Stoneybrook Country Club, 2000 Stoneybrook Blvd. for friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests a donation to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
