Ron was born in Washington, DC, on November 30, 1946 to parents Albert Hyatt and Marjorie (Cox) Hyatt. Ron graduated from George Washington University with a degree in economics. He would later obtain his juris doctor degree from Catholic University.
He married the love of his life, Ruthy Rebibo, on August 16, 1970.
Ron had a career in the law, working at various prestigious law firms. He was a proud member of the Chabad of Sarasota, Chabad of Lakewood Ranch, and Temple Emanu-el of Sarasota. Ron had a passion for golf, his granddaughter Brooklyn, and the best things in life.
Ron is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Ruthy Hyatt; his children Angelique and Andrew; beloved granddaughter Brooklyn; and his sisters Irene Exler, and Laverne Hyatt.
Funeral services to be held on May 26, 2026, at 2pm, at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park. Burial to follow at 2:30pm. Funeral home and cemetery located at 170 Honore Ave Sarasota, FL 34232
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Chabad of Sarasota, Chabad of Lakewood Ranch, and Temple Emanu-el of Sarasota in Ron’s name.
