

Rose Marie (Dvoravic) Schneider, aged ninety-seven, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30th, 2026, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Born on April 26, 1928, in Trafford, Pennsylvania, Rose was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, Robert Joseph Schneider. She is survived by her sons, Matthew (and his wife Elizabeth) and Mark (and his wife Rose), as well as her granddaughters Sarah, Rebecca, and Abigail. Her sons were present with her at the time of her passing.
Rose was the daughter of Anna and Frank Dvoravic Sr. and maintained enduring relationships with her eight siblings: Anna, Barbara, Catherine, Joseph, Mary, Helen, John, and Frank. She valued long-lasting friendships throughout her life and embraced travel, community service, charitable donations, adventure, and lifelong learning, visiting over fifty countries with family and friends.
Professionally, Rose served as an executive secretary prior to her retirement to Florida in the 1980s. As a resident of Punta Gorda, she lived in Windmill Village before relocating to Sarasota. She was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Charlotte, Florida and volunteered for many years at Bay Front Health in Punta Gorda.
Rose will be interred beside her husband at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
