

There will be a celebration of life this summer in Overland Park, and a burial at White Chapel Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
Rosemary was born in West Plains, Missouri to Amos E. McMurtrey and Olivia “Gordon” McMurtrey on February 4, 1940. She worked in medical sales most of her career and created her own company, “Rosemary Otte & Associates” in 1977 and just retired earlier this year.
Rosemary married Robert “Bob” A. Otte, August 16, 1974, Bob passed away April 19, 2017. She was outgoing and vibrant, and loved to travel and explore new places with her husband Bob. She loved to garden, read, and do beautiful needlework. She adored her dogs, Amiee (Doggie heaven), Allie and Grand dog Emmie, family, and friends.
She is survived by one child, Lisa A. Beatty (Terry G. deceased) of Overland Park, KS; sisters, Patsy A. Patrick of Newnan, GA, and Jane C. Green (Roy) of Springfield, MO; brother, Alan E. McMurtrey (Debbie) of Springfield MO; grandchildren, Trischa D. Cox (great-grandchild, Marcus great-great granddaughter, Mackenna, Christian, Carlise (deceased), Zachary, and Terrence). Bradley G. Beatty (Hannah) and (great-grandchildren, Ava and Connor), and beloved nieces and nephews, Amy Haskins (Chad) of Grantsville, GA, Carol Jo Green of Orlando, FL, Matthew Clark (Tara) of Sedalia MO, Sarah Jones (Curtis) of Shawnee, KS, and Andy McMurtrey of Springfield, MO; a great niece and many nephews and cousins.
