In Loving Memory of Sabina

For the past 12 years, I was blessed to call Sabina my neighbor. She was the kind of person who gave peace of mind simply by being nearby—our neighborhood’s faithful lookout, always keeping an eye on things.

When my family and I first moved here, you could almost always find her outside, lovingly tending to her flowers. That garden was a reflection of her spirit—vibrant, strong, and full of life.

Six years ago, after her fall, life slowed down for her. Yet her presence was still deeply felt. Sabina was feisty, full of character, and absolutely loved by those around her. She carried that spark even in quieter days.

Her son, Anthony, was devoted to her care, making sure she had what she needed and was never alone. That devotion spoke volumes about the love that surrounded her.

Sabina will be missed dearly in our neighborhood. Her watchful presence, her strong personality, and her memory will always be cherished.

Every year you could count on it to Sabina would bring poinsettias to the neighbors!

So very sorry for the loss of your mother. She is finally reunited with her husband and son, John.  She is probably giving them both a piece of her mind for going to heaven so soon.  I still think of John as my brother and still sad that he left us. RIP. Till we all meet again! ❤️

We can’t even imagine how you must feel after the lost of your mother. I’ve known you for 26 years and you have always been the most caring and wonderful son to your mother!

We have so many fond memories memories of Sabina! We would go to her house and she would teach us how to make homemade pierogies. We would always laugh and have so much fun while doing it. And they were always the best pierogies we ever had. Not only did she teach us how to do it, every time she made them she would send over a pan for us. She even taught us how to make cabbage rolls and me and they were so good. She was such a good cook! 

She would come to our salon to have her hair done and we always looked forward to have her there and again we would always have a lot of laughs and a lot of good times. There are many good memories of Sabina, too many to list throughout the years. We loved her dearly.

Tony, you did everything that you could possibly do for your mother and at the end you did everything you could do for her comfort and well-being and you knew what she wanted and you gave that to her. You should always be proud of that fact.

Although I only cared for Sabina for a short time, she touched my heart. She brought happy memories of my mother to me, for Sabina and I did some of the same things I cherished with my Mother. We listened to Italian music and she even joined in from time to time!. We laughed at the"skinny"young girls on Price is Right and decided we would have never been told to come on down! She laughed and it made my heart soar with happiness. 

Anthony you're the best son a Mother could possibly want. You were so loving and giving to her. You could see the love and dedication you had for her. You related to me that you had slept on the floor next to her bed to give her comfort.

Dear Anthony,
It is with great sympathy, thoughts and prayers I send condolences for the passing of your Mother. 
Sabina will always hold a special place in my heart. It was both  an honor and a privelage to care for your Mom for over a year. 
She will be greatly missed. 
May she rest in comfort and peace in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.
May you find solace knowing you were a wonderful, loving son and always put her needs first.
