Sally Ann Kuyper, age 88, a resident of Sarasota, FL, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2023. Sally was born in Detroit, MI to Ford and Margaret Staples on May 26, 1935. She was a graduate of the University of Michigan (undergrad) and Florida State University Law School and had been admitted to the Florida Bar Association. In keeping with her strong Christian convictions, she was a lifelong advocate of the Right to Life movement and served as a lobbyist for that cause in the Florida legislature. In her later years, Sally enjoyed photography and traveled around the world taking special horticultural photos.
Sally was predeceased by her second husband, Derk Kuyper, and her eldest son, Mark Perry McCrae. She is survived by her brother, John Staples (Tucson, AZ), her loving son, Glenn Scot McCrae (Venice, FL) and her two grandsons, Duncan and Scott McCrae (San Francisco, CA).
