Sandra "Sandy" Isaacs

She was born on March 9, 1937, in Wayne County, Michigan at Providence Hospital. She was the daughter of Benjamin (Baruch) and Molly (Malka) Zager.

Sandy was very proud of her children, Ellen Rosenthal and Craig (Diane) Isaacs. She had a special place in her heart for all her grandchildren Brooke Isaacs, Danielle Isaacs, Neil (Lily) Rosenthal, Zachary (Fiancé Elana) Rosenthal, and Emma (Ryan) Griffith. She was thrilled to meet her great granddaughter, Charlotte Rosenthal. Her family gave her great joy. Sandy was a very loving mother and Nana who always made time for each of her children and grandchildren.

Sandy owned a small boutique in a beauty shop with Marsha King, her friend / neighbor. The boutique had a catchy name, Fashion Bureau Incorporated (FBI). She met Arch Suse through Marsha King. They worked together for Leslie Fay, and they shared 44 years together. They were true soulmates.

One of her great passions in addition to her family was playing mahjong. She played several times a week with her friends. She was known to Mahj multiple times in a day. She was an ace at the game. She was a lot of fun, and her friends enjoyed her company and long-lasting relationship. She always had pictures and stories to share with her friends of her children and grandchildren.

Sandy was an honest, straight forward kindhearted Daughter, Mother and Nana who was loved and cherished by all.

Sandy Isaacs is preceded in death by Arch Suse, her loving soulmate of 44 years.

Sandy Isaacs is survived by her children, Ellen Rosenthal and Craig (Diane) Isaacs; grandchildren, Brooke Isaacs, Danielle Isaacs, Neil (Lily) Rosenthal, Zachary (Fiancé Elana) and Emma (Ryan) Griffith; and great grandchild: Charlotte Rosenthal.

A funeral/memorial service/celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th in Sarasota, Florida.
