He was born to Joseph and Josephine Sidoti in Hillside, New Jersey and achieved the rank of Corporal during the Korean War in the US Army.
First and foremost, Santo loved his wife, Debbie dearly; and his son, Joseph. Santo’s second love was playing cards. It didn’t matter what game it was, as long as cards were involved. He also loved to watch the New York Yankees. Santo also loved the flag. Words cannot describe how much he did.
Santo was also a great provider and extremely hard worker. When he was in his thirties, he worked construction full time, and owned an Italian ice truck for ten years. Santo also served 42 years with Local 394 in Elizabeth, NJ. He worked approximately 90-100 hours per week without ever taking a day off – always smiling, never complaining.
Santo was known by many people who always commented about how he always had a smile on his face.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Lucia Anderson, Susanne Dicembrino, Vincent Sidoti and Joan D’Alessandro.
Santo is survived by his wife, Debbie and his son, Joseph. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly, and also was loved back dearly.
