Shirley A. Marquardt, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on November 7, 2013.
Shirley was born in Arpin, WI, the daughter of the late Christ and Esther Yoss.
She was a graduate of Baraboo Lutheran Grammar High School and Baraboo High School. Shirley was active in Paoli Hospital Volunteer Group and was an active volunteer with Easter Seals, Southeast Florida.
Shirley served on several Meadows Country Club committees.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Russ; a sister, Alice Hook (Wayne); a daughter, Gail Graeff (Joel); sons, Greg Marquardt (Wendy), Rick Marquardt and David Marquardt; 6 grandchildren, Katie McDonnell, Megan Marquardt, Dan Marquardt, Heather Graeff, Lindsay Graeff and Mackenzie Marquardt; and 2 great-grandchildren, Owen and Abby McDonnell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tues, Nov 12 at 10:30am at Ascension Lutheran Church, 800 McIntosh Rd, Sarasota.
