

Susan A Franciosi, also known as Sue, peacefully passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 76 in Sarasota, FL. Born on April 29, 1947, in Lake Ronkonkoma, she was a true New Yorker at heart. Sue was a spirited woman who never shied away from expressing her opinions. She possessed a strong-willed nature, yet her unwavering support for her family was always evident. Sue was a dedicated mother who never missed her children's sporting events, always cheering them on as their biggest fan. However, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Aspen, Raine, Hunter, Colton, and Landon.
Sue is survived by her loving daughter, Laura Franciosi of East Meadow, NY, and her sons: Peter and wife Leslie Franciosi, Charles and wife Tiffany Franciosi Jr., and William and wife April Franciosi. She is also survived by her sisters, Maureen and husband Randy DeSantis, Marjorie Boyajian, and brother Robert Munn. Sue will be deeply missed by her nieces, Robyn, Michelle, Amy, Lisa, Jaclyn, and nephews, Tony, Brian, and Christopher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Franciosi, and her brother, Ricky Munn.
Sue attended Sachem High School in New York before embarking on a fulfilling career. She worked at Bowlerland in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York, and later joined the Sarasota County Schools and the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
Incarnation Catholic Church held a special place in Sue's heart as her place of worship. Her faith provided her with solace and guidance throughout her life.
In her leisure time, Sue found great joy in her hobbies. She was an avid bowler during her time in New York and enjoyed golfing. Sue took immense pride in watching her children play football, baseball, and soccer. Additionally, she was a passionate fan of the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team.
A memorial viewing to honor Sue's life will take place on July 16, 2023, from 12pm to 2pm at Robert Toale & Sons at Palms Memorial Park.
Sue's vivacious spirit, unwavering support, and love for her family will forever be cherished. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
