It genuinely sadden me to learn of his passing. Mr. Thomas was my first recruiter and actually my favorite. Although colleague, it was just a personal privilege to know him. He looked out for my best interest and I am eternally grateful for that. He overall was just a great person, easy to talk to, and the wisdom I learned from him would not be in vain. He took time to educate and provide insight surrounding life as he wanted me to be the best and not be taken advantage of.  He truly loved his family and life. I appreciate his positive energy. Jenny and I are so sorry to hear about your loss. I didn’t know Thomas extremely well, but every time we spoke, he was warm, kind, and genuinely courteous. I appreciate him helping us after the last hurricane by taking some of our stuff to the city dump. He invited me over for a drink on your back patio about a year ago, but I had plans that day and declined. I regret now not making the time to get to know him better over that drink. You, Thomas, and your kids have been great neighbors!

I had the joy of working with Thomas for three years, during which I came to deeply admire and respect him. He was optimistic, gracious, and kind—someone who brought a genuine sense of warmth and joy to our team. His smile was infectious, and he had a way of making people feel at ease. He was simply fun to be around.

What stood out most about Thomas was how much he loved his family. He spoke often and with deep pride about his children—their fishing trips, the sports they played, and the time they spent together. He’d light up when he talked about the banana trees he was growing back home or about their trips to the Florida Keys, which he clearly treasured. His stories were filled with joy, love, and gratitude.

Thomas also had a thoughtful way of connecting with those around him. We’d often chat about Omaha, since he knew my brother lived there—it was a small, shared thread that made our conversations personal and meaningful.

Working with Thomas was more than just a professional experience—it was a personal privilege. His character has left a lasting impression in my life . He was a truly good man, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Thomas was so calm and kind. I’ve always been impressed with how you two parent and homeschool, and I wish we were closer so we could spend time together. Love you Soph and second Thomas’s advice- stay positive!
