Thomas (Tommy) E. Lucas, age 67, of Bradenton, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, November 8, 2021 from a long hard fought battle with cancer. Tommy was born September 18, 1954 in Rochester NY.
Tommy had a passion for cars especially stock car racing. He raced for many years in both NY and Florida until he turned the driving over to his son Derek and he then became the crew chief. He was the owner of Lucas Automotive from the early 2,000’s until he retired in 2018.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Lucas, One son, Derek Lucas, Daughter- in- law Kelsey Lucas, grandson Trent Lucas and two sisters, Linda Lucas and Sue Lucas.
He is preceded by his Father Wilburt & Mother Harriet Lucas as well as his brother Gary Lucas.
Celebration of Life for my Dad Tommy Lucas will be held this Sunday November 14th at my house (Derek) from 12 to 3pm. Address - 9018 61st Ave East Bradenton F.L. 34202.
