Virginia is a Blackburn pioneer descendant of Sarasota, and her great-grandfather patented a number of inventions that are now on the market; built the town’s first street light, the first three-story, business building, and laid the first concrete sidewalk. She was a waitress for over 25 years at The Heidelberg Castle Restaurant.
Virginia is survived by sons, Harold (Kathy) and Edward True and daughter Dorene (Raymond) Caron, all of Bradenton; sisters, Patricia Braden and Alice Peterson; grandchildren, Raymond Caron III, Raechell Conn, and Christopher True; four great-grandchildren; and five great, great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11 AM on Sat. Mar. 31, 2018 at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, 170 Honore Ave., Sarasota, FL 34232.
