Visitation will be held 5-8pm Tuesday at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00pm Wednesday
at St. Martha's Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Palms-Robarts Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary. Survivors include his sons, Peter and wife Kellie of Tampa, FL and Anthony and wife Joan of Silver Spring, MD; daughter, Andrea Smith and husband Tom of Ringwood, NJ; grandchildren, Kristin, Kevin, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Aiden.
Vito was born November 10, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Sarasota in June of 1994. He was a veteran of the U.S.Navy serving during World War II. He was an avid fan of the St.Louis Cardinals and a jigsaw puzzle aficionado.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice or Sarasota Memorial Heart Failure Center.
