William "Billy" Detweiler Jr.

William "Billy" Detweiler, Jr. age 71, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Hartville, OH, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 7, 2013. He was born on December 15, 1941 in Hartville to the late William and Ada (nee Schrock) Detweiler. Billy was loved by many and had a great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, William in 1972 and Ada in 2003. He is survived by his son, Anthony of Myakka City, FL; four brothers, Bob, Wayne and Ed of Sarasota and Loren of Okeechobee, FL; five sisters, Dorothy Miller, Arlene (Jake) Mast, Mary Louise (Walter) Raber, all of Sarasota, Ellen Anderson and Marie (Glenn) Miller, all of Hartville and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved and enjoyed. They will miss their "Uncle Billy". Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home and Thursday from 10:00am to 11:00am at Abundant Life Church where the funeral will follow at 11:00am. Final resting place will be at Oak Grove Amish Cemetery, Hartville. We will miss you Billy. Guestbook:

Bill was a fun person with a lot of life he use to make me laugh when he would stop by my office. It has been wonderful knowing the whole family my heart and prayers go out to all of them. He will be missed but never forgotten
