Bill and I not only worked together but we were very good friends. He was someone that you  enjoyed being with. I miss the times in Florida and think of him often. Rest in peace.

My only regret was not being able to speak at Dads memorial service.  He was the most generous compassionate and understanding man.  We had a bond the day I was born.  He was a baby having a baby with a birth defect.  He was always there for me.  When he was in boot camp in Georgia, he would talk to me and calm me down, when I was having an asthma attack.  He loved all his children biologic and step.  He supported all of us in good times and bad.  He loved all of us unconditionally.  Even though my brothers claim I was the favorite.  He had no favorites.  Life will not be the same without him.  Rest easy Dad, until we meet again

I am truly blessed to have had you in my life.
My grandfather passed away when I was 7 years old and having you as my grandfather for the last 25 years has been a joy and a privilege. 
Your smile and personality was loving and one in a million. 
Playing cards and dominoes is just scratching the surface on the many wonderful memories.

You will never be forgotten and I am thankful you were in my life. From your laughs and smile, to all the things you have taught me. It was truly a blessing. You were definitely a one of a kind and priceless. You always made things happen and lived your life serving others. I will miss dominoes, cards, and golfing. You will always have a place in my heart. There are no perfect words to describe the impact you have had on my life, but I am truly blessed to have had you in my life and the lessons I will carry with me forever. 

My memory of Uncle Bill and Godfather.  Whenever you sat close to Uncle Bill, he always seemed to find a way to pull your hair.  Not sure if it was only me or if he pulled everyone's hair who sat next to him.  Another memory was back in 2006 for the Sarasota Marathon.  Uncle Bill insisted on driving the marathon course the day before so I could see where the course would take me.  Then on marathon day, Uncle Bill drove Beverly, my Mom and Dad around the course so they could see me in different spots.  Uncle Bill was always helping someone and I will treasure that moment in time to make my Sarasota Marathon experience that much better.  I love you Uncle Bill and will miss you.  Thank you for being a special Uncle and Godfather to me.  Have a wonderful birthday in heaven.  Rest in peace.

Uncle Bill made things happen smoothly.  Often, nobody noticed him or what he did.  He didn’t care.  He was always quietly there, occasionally a little tough and sarcastic on the surface, but very gentle and understanding beneath.  He was genuinely warm in an environment that was not convinced about either warmth or authenticity. I did not know him as well as I should have, yet he took care to know me better than I could have imagined.  My heart goes out to his wife, Beverly, my cousins Dan, Nancy, David and TJ.  To paraphrase my Jewish friends, his memory will always be for a blessing.

Bill and I worked hand in hand together for many years. He was the best, always there to help you and support you. No matter what the challenge he was there at your side. Bill was someone who  I admired for his friendship, dedication and his willing to go the extra yard for you. I will miss him.
