I am so grateful for your help Dr. George. I couldn’t have gotten through the past 10 years without it. You did what too few practitioners do, you listened and you cared.

Being squeamish about doctors, I was initially reluctant to see Dr. George, even though the referral came from my own family who were patients and lived in close proximity. I live in New York City, the epicenter of world-class medical care, yet I hesitated. It wasn’t until I nearly passed out after taking a workout class that I finally decided to see him that very day.
One clinical visit was all it took for me to know I had found my doctor despite the distance. Dr. George’s integrity and demeanor are immediately captivating. His deep knowledge paired with true empathy made it clear I was in the best hands. He further my education by providing explanations to me on charts and in books. Being in bodywork, I often reference a book he introduced me to. From the way he listens and educates, to how he shares stories from his own life, you feel like an extension of his family. 
For over six years, I was fortunate to know Dr. George was there to support and protect me. When I suffered an internal injury that led everyone to believe I’d never exercise again—except for walking—seeing the pride on his face when I made a full recovery was unforgettable. I am deeply grateful for his guidance, expertise, and belief in my healing.
My husband and daughter were also his patients. Whenever we were in Florida, we would all visit him together. He was the only voice we fully trusted, and they both cared deeply for him. We even referred friends from New York City, who flew down specifically for his care and they too were amazed by their experience.
Dr. George’s legacy of wisdom, compassion, and unwavering commitment to his patients is a rare treasure. His care left a lasting imprint on our lives, and we are forever grateful. I will always cherish the photo we took together during my last visit this past April. Knowing how devoted he was to his church, I find comfort in believing he is now watching over everyone whose life he touched.

It is September 8th and I am still trying to process that my doctor,  mentor and most trusted caregiver is no longer with us. Although my tears are many, I cast them aside with a smile when thinking back on what the eight years of being in his care -- often unconventional -- meant to me. Talk about smiles. Dr George’s had the essence of warmth glowing in it as did his laugh and, he laughed a lot with me. Once I came in to see him about pain in my hips when I walked.  He asked me to walk across the floor and swish to the left and right as I went by. I suppose I didn’t swish enough because he said, “No not like that, like this.”  Then he proceeded to swish across the floor to which we both cracked up in hysterics. 
Then there were the times when I would come to see him with serious muscle pain in my neck and shoulders and he would tell me that they were wound up from stress. And he knew I had plenty with both my marriage (at times) and  then an added estrangement with my daughter. And when I would pour out the details, I would watch him shake his head in empathy and give me the advice that I believe he would give his own daughters.
There were also times when I would have something going on with some part of my body, and I would call him  - he did not have Faith to answer the phone. He would spend as much time as needed until I had a full explanation about what I was experiencing and what I should do next and then get back to him if I still needed more. Talk about more! I can go on and on remembering more and more of my relationship with him and in my quiet moments I do just that. To conclude, there will always be a big hole in my heart that I believe no other doctor will be able to fill.

We are so sorry to hear of Dr. George's passing. He was a good friend of our family for many years and a caring doctor. Deepest condolences to his family.

Dr. George was our physician for many years. His care, advice and concern were immeasurable. He was not only our doctor, but he was a friend. He will be deeply missed by us.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. George.
He was my doctor for 50 years and was a kind, caring and compassionate man. He helped not only with my physical health, but my phycological health as well. I was very lucky to have known him.
My wife, Jane, was lucky enough to have known Dr George as well.
There are no words to adequately express our condolences to the entire George Family.

Dr George was our dr since 1974. He saw my husband Bob through a stroke,heart bypass , and pacemaker. He always had time for us.In the last few years we were seeing him every 6 weeks. He would talk baseball with Bob and talk about the Lord with me. Or it would be about his latest new thing. Giant rubber bands or rubber gloves he couldn’t get on! We always said he better not retire or die before Bob. I guess the Lord was listening. Bob went to Heaven suddenly in September. He wouldn’t have dealt well with losing someone who he considered a friend as well as a Dr. My prayers for his family that he loved so much

I met Ashlynn in the 1st grade at Advent Lutheran. Her energy was quiet, warm and sweet. Everything my little 7 year  old soul needed to find. 
I remember when we realized both our moms were named Linda! (One Linda and one Lynda)
Our moms always talked and laughed at  events and Mrs. George was always so kind and welcoming to me.  
Throughout the years, Ash always gave us her Dad’s physician advice. I felt like I had some super secret intel (it was the 90s, there was no google lol). 
She always spoke so highly of her Dad and I saw how hard he worked to provide a beautiful life for his family. 
I spent the night in the 8th grade at their home back then in Royal Palm……it’s a home I still remember to this day. It was  filled with so much love and warmth (and the candles always smelled so good!!!)

My heart is with the entire George family. 
The warmth and kindness of the home you built and love you gave will always be remembered to me.

I don’t have the words that would explain just how much our Family loved Dr. G.  He was our Family’s Dr for 47 years…. He was an AMAZING man…. Kind & Patient….Always listened giving you his undivided attention. 
Our hearts are broken. We were so lucky to have him in our lives. As I used to tell him…

Dr. George  has been my doctor for 28 years and is one of the most amazing people I have ever known.  Any time I needed help he would take my call and we would talk for 5 minutes or an hour! Dr George treated my son in an emergency at Boca Raton hospital at a minutes notice!
The office visits were more like a combination of medical and psychology of life!!!  He was always there for me even if I called for a late appointment !
Dr George was very much like my father who was my hero in my life!!
So about 5 years ago I complained that I was feeling weak in spite of the fact he said I’m going to live to be 100. 
I visited him and immediately he did an 
EKG on me and he looked at me and said
“ Robert “ you are not going anywhere , I’m calling the ambulance and stay here!  10 minutes later I’m being wheeled out of mizner park to an ambulance to Boca Raton hospital emergency room !  
The doctors there said. “ Robert you are getting a pacemaker in the next two hours !
To my surprise I’m taken to OR and 2 hours later I wake up in my hospital room and the first people I see is Dr. George and a nurse and the cardiologist who told me I have an amazing Doctor!!!
He saved my life!!!
Today I’m sad that I cannot talk with him anymore and share life stories

Bill George was our good friend and neighbor.  Bill could be counted on as the first person to help us, or anyone, if there was a need.  He would do so with kindness, thoughtfulness and a warm reassuring smile.  He seemed to shy away from material pleasures and revel in the joy of helping others.  If one of our family members were sick, Bill would call and ask how he could help.  Later the doorbell would ring unexpectedly and Bill would deliver a surprise hot dinner.  
Bill greatly loved his family and if he was not at work, then he was with his family.  He gave 110% attention to both whenever possible.  Family and helping others were his passions.
Bill George was the consummate physician.  He took great pride in not only curing disease, but preventing it.  His ability to use and interpret an ultrasound was unparalleled.  This ability saved, cured or extended the lives of many patients.  His examinations were carefully planned and thorough. Bill’s face would light up with pride and joy when he discussed some of his lifesaving accomplishments.  
The world needs more Bill George’s.  We will miss you, Bill. Rest in peace.

In January 19 74, I wasn’t feeling well. I saw his office at Federal and Jeffrey Street. I went in and made an appointment. He drew my blood and told me he would get back with me in several days. When I went to see him to get the results of my blood work, he told me I was pregnant. My positive pregnancy test is now 51 years old. He was so sweet and yet professional. He will surely be missed.
