Flick, Wilma A. Nov. 24, 1924 - Dec. 21, 2014 Flick, Wilma A., 90, of Sarasota passed away peacefully Sunday, December 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 24, 1924 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William H. and Mary E. Glass. She moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1932 and attended Central School, Sarasota Junior High School and graduated from Sarasota High School in 1943. She met her future husband, Gary O. Flick, while back visiting in Louisville. They were married in Augusta, Georgia in May 1944. Wilma was a past member of the Beta Sigma Pi and was also a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sarasota. She is survived by her devoted husband, Gary O. Flick; son, Gary L. Flick (Roberta); grandsons, David E. Flick (Joyce) of Albany, GA and Darrell W. Flick (Brenda) of North Port, FL; great-grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Flick, Madison Ann Flick, Hanna Rose Flick, Christopher Flick and Austin Weigman. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, December 23, at 2 PM at Palms-Robarts Memorial Park, Sarasota. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Wilma's name to Tidewell Hospice of Sarasota.
