Yvonne Willis Hinman, 89, passed away on February 7, 2014.
Born in Sarasota, Florida the daughter of George and Margurite Willis. She was predeceased by her husband Henry J. Hinman, Sr.
She is survived by her four sons, Henry Hinman Jr. and his wife Ellen, Richard Hinman and his wife Cathy, Robert Hinman and David Hinman and his wife Lynette. Yvonne is also survived by five grandchildren and by nine great grandchildren.
A graduate of Sarasota High School, she married Henry Hinman, Sr. in Sarasota just as WWII was beginning. Soon, they moved to Maine where they raised their family. Yvonne never lost her love for Sarasota and in the late 1960's she and Henry moved back to Sarasota and started Forest Products Supply. Family ties and the business eventually brought the entire family to Sarasota, much to her delight.
Her grandchildren and great grandchildren called her "Spice", she was the Spice in her family.
