Barry & I met Zach & Marissa (on a whim) in May of 2018. we became fast friends and have kept in touch ever since. Our friendship has been distant in proximity,  but they both mean alot to us. I am so sorry we are unable to say goodbye properly. Our hearts are broken & with Marissa, and all his family and friends.  Zach will be very much missed by us. Sending prayers and love from NC.

Grateful for all the fun times. You are now a Warrior in Gods army.

Mike and I are heartbroken at the loss of Zach. Words are not enough to express the love and prayers we are sending you.

This news is so sad.  I remember the first day we met Zach.  He came knocking door to door to see if we needed a landscaper.  Of course we hired him .  He was good, honest,  and each week would always ask to see how the family was doing.  He will be truly missed.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family.

Heartfelt condolences to Zach's family and all those who felt like his family.  
Though I didn't know him long, I became a big Zach fan when he and his crew started doing my yardwork. We hired him after finding out he was a USMC Veteran.  
Reading his obituary, I now know he was a true American hero.

OMG I am shocked and saddened! Zack was the heart and smile of Lighthouse. I'll never forget the day he came over to give me my quote, he was like a big teddy bear and gave me a hug when we were done with our long, long talk. He always had a smile on his face. He always helped me bring out something cold to drink, then I'd go restock for my boys for the next time Zack came.  I considered him a friend. My heart goes out to you and the family with this truly devastating loss. I am truly saddened. Just a client who's crying. I know God only takes the best, and He's taking everyone from me. Vicki and i are extremely sad to hear about Zach.  We have known his parents Ken and Lisa for years as neighbors and grown to admire their family of three sons, Zach, Ben, and Scott.   We would often talk to Zach as he showed up to do our lawn and he was always pleasant, gregarious, hard working, and shook your hand every time he saw you.  We knew he was also a military veteran who served his country well.  

Semper Fi Zach.  You will be missed.

Zach was a friend and brother veteran. I looked forward to seeing him every other monday when he and his crew showed up. It was my pleasure to know him and his dad. Sometimes you are lucky in life to be blessed with great human beings. He and his dad were those. I will always treasure those fond memorys of are talks. God bless you my brother, rest in peace. Zach and Lighthouse Lawn Care took care of our lawn. He always greeted us with a smile and a handshake. He will truly be missed.

My heart goes out to Melissa and family.  Zack was mine and my husband's lawn service.   We became friends and even partied with him and Melissa last year in Nashville.   His lawn service was exceptional and I enjoyed the short visits and  conversations with him when he was providing lawn service.  When home I would always chitchat with him a bit.  Zach will surely be missed.

If Zach wanted you to be his friend you really had not choice.  Zach would make sure he stayed in contact with you no matter what.  I'm going to miss the random 500 texts back and forth after the work day discussing all things Q and random life events.  This world is truly better off with Zach in it.   I'm glad we got to connect before I moved out of Sarasota.  Looks like I'll have to get the things you were most excited for just for you buddy.  Rest in peace my friend and always stay Qucci.

I met zach when I became his boss when i got transferred to the publix he was working  at and we instantly became friends.  We go to lunch every day we worked together and message on the phone daily even when we didn't work together.  We stayed close all these years I have so many fun stories and great memories with Zach.   Everyone that worked at that store with Zach still to this day talks  about him and the fun times with him he was one of a kind.  Ill never forget him and always keep his memory going by sharing my time with him.  Zach always had a big heart. No matter how bad of a day you could be having  Zach had a way to always you cheer you up with his personality.   Zach was a brother to me I'll always miss him.

I am so sorry for your loss. Zack and I were housemates back in 2013 for a month or so. He was moving out while I was moving in until my house was finished.  We hit it off and became quick friends. We grabbed drinks a few times and over the years, we have reconnected whenever we are in each other’s city.  We went to a Garth Brooks concert in 2016 and then I introduced him to national politics by bring him to a convention in 21. He was a good man with a pure heart. God bless you, my friend. Rest in peace.

I can not begin to imagine how devastated you must feel at a time like this.  The girls wish you the best as do I.

Zach was a person who lit up a room (or restaurant in this case) every time he walked in.  I was one of his and his wife marissas, bartenders over at the Madfish grill, and there was never a dull moment when he came and sat down in the restaurant. He got along with everyone, and there was always laughs when he was around. One of the most genuine humans I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and serving. Thank you for the laughs, words of wisdom, and authenticity. Thank you for serving our country and making the world a bit brighter. You will be very deeply deeply missed 🤍

Zach met our son Jake at Madfish Grill where he would go after work sometimes to grab dinner for he and his wife Marissa. He took a liking to Jake and hired him on at his landscaping company and was mentoring him through the process of preparing for his commitment to the US Navy.  He was really exited for Jake.  We met him on a few occasions and could tell right away his heart was as big as he was. He enjoyed joking around about the younger generation but also giving credit when it was deserved.  His laugh and smile would put anyone right at ease.  Our hearts are so heavy for his family’s loss. We are also very sorry we won’t get to know him better or have him heckling Jake through basic training by sending him contraband, something he was very excited to do.

I met Zach playing Xbox in 2008. And we have been friends since. Taken trips together, laughed, fostered relationships and grown up. He was the friend that was always there. He loved as big as he was and I'm going to miss him dearly. When we all decided to randomly go to Vegas it was probably some of the most fun I have ever had on a whim, and that's who Zach was. Squeezing life for every ounce he could get and sharing it with those around him.
