Paula T. Romeo, a longtime resident of New York, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, at the age of 74. Paula will be lovingly remembered by her brother,Paul, and her beloved nephews, Michael and Joseph. She was predeceased by her cherished mother, Alfreda; her father, Michael; and her brother, Anthony.
Paula had a deep love of reading and literature. After retiring from her career as a paralegal, she devoted her time to the Mamaroneck Library, where she found great joy in sharing her love of books and reading with children. Her kindness, generosity, and passion for literature touched the lives of many.
Paula will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and in the lives she touched.
Visitation will be held at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes, 824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale, New York 10583, on August 31, 2026, from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, with a Chapel Service at the same location on August 31, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, New York 10532, on August 31, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 12:45 pm.
