Kathy and I are deeply saddened by Pete’s passing.  He will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers.  Pete among many other things, was the face and backbone of the Turner Club.  Every time we met or talked we reminisced over the good times we experienced, the friends, the holiday celebrations, volleyball, swimming, the youthful pranks, and the conversations that seemed to last forever.
He has moved on to the next life but he will not be forgotten.  This goodbye is only temporary.

Our thoughts are with Lynn and the entire family as you remember and celebrate Pete’s life.

I've known Peter for almost 50 years.  He and my dad were very close.  We've helped each other out many times in business.  I could honestly say we were more than business associates.  We were trusted friends.

Some of my fondest memories of Peter are from when we were young teenagers at the Turner Club in Throgs Neck, New York. Like most teenagers, we thought we were pretty smooth when it came to romance. Peter had his eye on both Ursula and Sigrid Roggenkamp, who were cousins, while I was interested in Sigfrid. I don't think either of us won any awards for our courtship skills, but we certainly had a lot of fun trying! Those carefree days are memories I will always cherish.
Over the years, Peter and I shared wonderful memories, especially through the 1850 Foundation Board. We spent countless hours reminiscing about our past, laughing and remembering the people and moments that shaped our lives. I only wish we had been given more time to create and share even more memories together.
Peter will be deeply missed. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathy are with his family and all who loved him. May he rest in peace until I get to see him again.

Losing a parent is never easy, but I hope you find comfort in the love your father had for you both and the memories you created together. 

I will always remember your father's kindness and humor while we all went fishing and played golf with the nutty Michel Vlock. Those were some fun times, and that's how I am going to remember your dad.

I was working with Peter since 1995 as a studio designer . All that time he was treating me as his own son . I visited and stayed at his home for so many times on my business trips . Very sad news . Worked with Peter on many jobs over the years . Peters  knowledge of Stained Glass can not be topped . His work will live on for century's.

Peter and I developed a friendship while the Rohlf Company designed , made and installed the most beautiful stained glass windows in St. Thomas More Church in Darien,CT.

To Lynn and the family, my deepest condolences. Peter was a kind and funny man, and most of all, to me, my dad's best friend. He got to see one more Knicks championship and will hopefully see his buddy again very soon. He was one of a kind,  will truly be missed, and will never be forgotten.

Lynn and family, words cannot express the sadness that Jane and I are feeling today. Your neighbor, Barbara, kindly let us know of Peter’s passing  and we are saddened to the extreme. 
Peter was a friend, a gentleman, and  a preeminent craftsman. We so enjoyed his love of glass and our visits to his studio and discussions of his artful life.
There will be a tremendous void in our Indian Lake summers without him. 💔
