August 23, 1945 – September 10, 2026
Robert A. Brown, Sr., age 81, of White Plains, New York, passed away on September 10, 2026, at White Plains Hospital.
Born on August 23, 1945, in Valhalla, New York, Robert lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and service. He spent many years working in sales, where his natural gift for conversation and ability to connect with people served him well throughout his career.
Robert was especially proud of his service to his country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He served during the Vietnam War and carried the Marine Corps values of honor, commitment, and Semper Fidelis “Always Faithful”—with him throughout his life.
Robert shared his life with his beloved wife, Anna, until her passing in September 2016. Her loss remained an important part of his later years, and he now joins her in eternal rest.
Robert leaves behind his loving children: his son, Robert Brown, Jr., and his wife, Cassandra; and his daughter, Tanya Davis, and her husband, Eddie Bobby, all of Ohio.
He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Damara, Deja, Za’Mya, Jamal, Quanzaneysha, Jeremiah, and Jadyn. His legacy continues through his grandchildren and his many great-grandchildren, who will carry his memory forward for generations to come.
Robert is also survived by his dear sister, Debbie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen; brothers, Henry, Charles, and Dennis, and his sisters, Ruth and Betty.
Robert’s 81 years were a journey of service, family, hard work, and perseverance. His life touched multiple generations, and his memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons remembered, and the family he leaves behind.
Semper Fidelis. Always Faithful. Always Remembered.
Funeral and memorial service arrangements are pending and will be announced at a later date.
