Carl N.W. Stark, age 88, of Cedar Lake, passed away on December 10, 2013. He is survived by 11 children: Sharon (Tom) Stark-Cassidy, Tish (Dennis) Pyritz, Colette (Mel) Arnold, Marian Davis, Janice (Ken) Holmes, Sandy (Dave) Rapp, Margie Stark, Rose (Ed) Bombagetti, Beverly Gill, Cathy (Dave) Babusiak, and Paul (Kathy) Stark; 36 grandchildren; and 35 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Colette; son, David; and three sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday December 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Michael Catholic Church with Rev. Martin Dobrzynski officiating. Burial at St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. (with a 4:30 p.m. prayer service) at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave. (1/2 mile south of Ridge Rd) Schererville, IN. Mr. Stark may also be viewed at the church Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. (time of services). Carl was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He also belonged to Midnight Roller’s Skating Club. He loved the sunshine.
