Irma Vargo, age 92, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013. Irma was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Vargo; parents: George and Mary Balog; and brothers: George, Mose, Andrew, and William. Irma enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN). Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
