Jennie was born November 26, 1927 in Beech Creek, Kentucky to the late Fields and Dicey (Whitney) Camplin. Also preceding her in death are her loving husband of 63 years, Henry Wright; and six siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Philip Wright and Melinda Wright, both of Highland.
Jennie was a loving and devoted homemaker and caretaker of her family. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and the family dogs.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 5-8 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave. Schererville, Indiana 46375). Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 10:00 am with Pastor Don Rector officiating at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
