Lorraine Hanson

Lorraine Hanson, age 59, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2013. She is survived by her loving son, Matthew (Heather) Hanson; beloved grandchildren: Ryan Jacob Hanson and Riley Ann Hanson; dear siblings: Bob E. (Norma) Quisenberry, Sue Corum, Faye (David) Kelley, and Roy (Pat) Quisenberry, Jr.; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Madeline Quisenberry; and sister, Joyce Russell. Lorraine enjoyed her career as an International Sales Director. She was also the owner of Simply Elegant in Crown Point, IN. Lorraine was truly loved by many, with friends from around the world. She considered all of her friends and associates as family. Lorraine was a loving and caring person who enjoyed doing for others. The most important person in her life was her beloved son, Matthew. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her precious grandchildren. Lorraine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN with Pastor Gary officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society .
