Rob was born September 18, 1964 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Paul C. and Ruby Elouise Heavner. Also preceding him in death is his brother, James Heavner.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Robin, Brittany, Justin “JJ”, and Jordan Heavner; former spouse, Sandy Heavner, siblings, Tony (Wendy) Heavner, John (Maureen) Heavner, Martha (Joey) Watt, Mike (Sharon) Heavner, Margie (Robert) Jackson, Joe (Debi) Heavner, Enoch (Diana) Heavner, and Eddie (Dawn) Heavner; many nieces and nephews and other family members.
Mr. Heavner was a 1983 Morton High School Graduate. He was a handyman and enjoyed wood carving.
Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2016 from 10 am until the time of the funeral at 12 noon at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375) with Pastor Clemon Chappell officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
