Agnes was a beautician and owner of the Plains Beauty Shop in the historic Plains Hotel in Cheyenne, WY. She sold the business in the late 60s and moved to Scottsdale, AZ with her husband Homer. Agnes married Homer Mouer on November 29, 1966 and they were married for 30 years.
Janis and Aggie went to church together for several years before Aggie fell and was placed in an assisted living facility. Janis took care of her affairs for her.
She is preceded in death by her husband Homer Mouer, brother Monsignor William Delaney, sisters Alice Bolin, Evelyn Delbridge, Pat Kilpatrick and Theresa Dugan and her parents Mary Margaret Finnegan Delaney and Michael Edward Delaney. Her niece, Janis Westendorf from Mesa, AZ, was her caregiver for several years. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. I want to thank Brookdale North Gilbert where she received excellent care for the last 12 years. Sage Hospice took great care of her the last few weeks of her life.
Memorial services for Aggie are scheduled for Saturday, March 13 at 1:00pm at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery in Scottsdale, Arizona. She will be laid to rest at St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona on a future date.
In memory of Agnes Mouer, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or Sage Hospice and Palliative Care.
