Alan Lewis Hartrick, 84, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on November 24, 2015. He was born to Allen and Doris Rourke Hartrick on November 23, 1931 in Oswego, New York. Alan is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Karen. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, three sons Robert, James and David, and one step-son Jeffrey Schiller, one daughter Gail and one step-daughter Melanie Kimball, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Al was very active in the Shrine Patrol Unit and he directed the Shrine Drum and Bugle Corp for many years. He was honored at a ceremony presenting him with a 50 year membership pin from the Free and Accepted Masons of Arizona on October 29, 2015. He was a member of the American Legion in Scottsdale.
Al was a member of the National Guard in New York for a year before joining the Air Force where he served for 4 years, much of that time was in Germany.
