

Alberta was born in Putnam, Connecticut on July 30, 1948, to Albert and Doris Sadie Judd. She moved to Phoenix with her family in 1959 where she met her husband during high school years. Alberta was a bright student in school and learned many things which she retained throughout her life. She graduated from Carl Hayden High School in 1967 and married Manuel in 1968.
She was an excellent seamstress and made many different clothes for the family and excelled in the culinary arts by making many meals out of whatever ingredients were available.
She was a loving mother who took time for her children whenever they needed her. Alberta was resourceful and caring, always ready with home remedies, practical solutions, and dependable support for her family.
She was a walking encyclopedia.
Alberta will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, generosity, and trustworthy spirit, qualities that helped her form lasting friendships throughout her life.
After a lifetime of fighting and overcoming many physical obstacles, Alberta passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, and is survived by her adoring husband Manuel, children David Rodriguez, Melanie & Perry Smith, Deborah & Jeremy Gilliland, Rachael & Rod Eitel, Daniel & Nicole Rodriguez, Donald & Patricia Rodriguez, two foster children Adam Reill and Dena Hamilton, twenty-nine grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Celebration of Life will be held July 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. located at CCV Central Scottsdale Campus located at 9610 E. Cactus Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85250
