Anne H Bailey

Anne H Bailey of Scottsdale Arizona, daughter of the late John and Eleanor Hogan and wife to Donald M. Bailey passed away peacefully August 15th after a long illness. As she desired, she was surrounded by her sons Mike (Michael) and Tony (James) Scanlan, her daughter Trish (Patricia) Scanlan, and her caretaker and friend, Sarah Een. Anne is survived by her sisters, Patricia Hogan, Carol Best, and Eleanor Fields, her brother, Jim Hogan, her grandchildren, Megan O’Leary and Kathleen Scanlan, and her great grandchildren Colin, Connor, and Norah O’Leary. Anne was born Anne Catherine Hogan in Woodbury, New Jersey in 1931 and graduated from Philadelphia’s West Catholic High School in 1949. She received a BS degree in Early Childhood Development in 1969, graduating Cum Laude from Drexel University’s School of Home Economics in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Anne taught Home Economics in Delaware County, Pennsylvania middle and high schools, and volunteered at many nonprofit organizations in Delaware County and Scottsdale.
