Anne Elizabeth Cornelius passed away peacefully September 15, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Born to Henry and Mary West on January 19, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY. While serving in the U.S. Army she met and married the love of her life, John Cornelius. After being discharged from the military they moved to Arizona in 1947, where they created their well known family business, 4-Wheelers Supply, in Phoenix, AZ. Residing in Scottsdale they raised their four children. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband John. Survived by her children Patty McElfresh (Cecil), Allen Cornelius, Paula Hogue (Stan), Darlene Smiley (Ken), sister Eileen Tiedemann, 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 19, 2011. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 PM following the visitation at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
