Bart, age 71 of Fountain Hills, AZ passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 peacefully at his home. Bart was born in Mishawaka, Indiana in 1951. He was predeceased by his mother Betty Jane Hamman and father Robert Burl Hamman.
Bart enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking and living in the Pacific Northwest and Arizona desert, with his family and friends. He had a talent for building, remodeling houses and fixing anything you needed. Bart was a Vietnam Veteran.
Bart is survived by his wife of 45 years, Peggy Hamman, daughter Elizabeth Powell (Benjamin), granddaughter Margot Powell, sister, Peggy Smith, brothers, Patrick Hamman, Robert Hamman, and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, (at Pinnacle Peak Road), Phoenix, Arizona 85024.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Veterans Affinity; www.veteransaffinity.org, which is an organization that assists veterans and their families.
