Bev is survived by her four children, John, Shelley, Sandi, Doug, step-son Rick, ten grandkids and seven great grandkids.
Beverly was born in Cincinnati Ohio to Herbert and Virginia Pike Correll on July 23, 1937. Besides attending school in the Cincinnati area, Bev and her sister Terry often visited their Grandmother Pike’s farm across the river in rural Kentucky. A few years later they left the East with their Mother and lived in La Jolla, California. Beverly later attended Citrus High School in Glendora, California where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Lou Howell.
Bev and Lou lived many years in Glendora where they were active in youth sports activities. In fact, Beverly was the first female President of Pop Warner football in that area. She also coached softball, was a Cub Scout Den Mother and was constantly involved in volunteering for all team sports in Glendora.
Lou and Bev moved to Arizona in 1972. After raising her children and retiring from Motorola, Bev’s happiest times were when she was fishing, traveling, watching her grandkids playing sports and going to the casino.
A Celebration for Bev will be held in April in Scottsdale. Bev will be deeply missed by all who loved her. WE LOVE YOU MIMIS!!
