He was born on August 7, 1942 at Jamestown General Hospital in Jamestown, N.Y. and lovingly taken home from the hospital and raised by Charles and Leila Kipple of Chandlers Valley, PA.
He had an old soul that touched many people. His spirit was endless in its giving to others. Wayne was generous with his time, energy and supported many different causes. This he leaves as his legacy to all who loved him and were loved by him. He had generosity of spirit and was the first to arrive for good or bad, with a gift, a smile, a hug, whatever was needed. He had friends everywhere.
Wayne graduated from Eisenhower High School in Russell, PA, Class of 1960 and was the Senior Class President. A 1967 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester N.Y. where he obtained an A.A.S. degree and a B.S. in Marketing.
From college he went right to work at Blair Corp (formerly New Process Co.) in Warren, PA. He retired after 30+ years on October 18, 1996. He worked at Blair on an RIT co-op plan before full time. Initially he worked as a bagger in the Mailing Dept. and later was transferred to the Women's department as a buyer. In 1977 he became a strong contributor to the development of the Home Furnishings Division. Prior, Blair was a mail-order company of Men's and Women's apparel, and this was a new marketing venture. In 1980 he was appointed Vice President-Home Furnishings. He also developed an "Improved Living" line of products to make your life better. Another of Wayne's accomplishments was for the creation of a catalog for his division and Blair. Prior, mailings were all individual brochures stuffed into an envelope and mailed. In addition, he was a strong contributor in the formation of the International Trade Department for many of the Pacific Rim nations.

He was a major donor and supported the building of the new YMCA in Warren, and the renovation of the Struthers Library Theatre, and the building of the Holy Redeemer Church and Recreation Center.
The first thing he did in retirement was going to Calcutta, India to work with the poor in Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity in 1997. He worked with the poor that had been on the streets and a Leper Colony outside of Calcutta. He was well known in Phoenix for his work with Phoenix Cancer Wellness Center, Chandler Regional Hospital Cancer Center, Phoenix V.A. Yoga, several forms of Tai Chi and he was a Reiki Master.
