It's been a year since your leaving us here on this place we call Earth.  I believe that you are in a place that is as beautiful as you and there are no struggles or pain.  You never complained and when you did, we knew you were really sick.  You have been missed so much this year and you have been thought about so often that it's hard to believe you are not here with us.  I listen to my Elvis music on my iPhone and smile when I think of how much you enjoyed his music and how you must have danced a million times to it!  We all miss you, Aunt Carol!  Love to you, Kris

Thinking of you during the Christmas Season.  Missing your witty charm.  I think Mom misses you especially now during basketball season!  She is so excited - she now has 30 channels for just BB!  Love you.

I was at a seminar for women in leadership roles a couple weeks ago and thought of you Aunt Carol!  The woman responsible for setting it up was very classy and poised.  She even had her collar turned up just like you.  I often wonder why you did that - was it because your neck was always cold, did it make your neck look longer or did you see it on someone famous and thought it a good thing to do?  Hmmm ... I wonder.  I miss you very much.

We will miss Carol so much,I have known her most of my life.Carol had shuch a wonderful sense of humor,and was so witty. our thoughts and prays are with family and friends.   Jackie and Bebe Carpenter

Carol would be happy to know we all think our sister Darlene's face looks like her from the side. My sympathy goes to Carol's family and friends. I recall the smiles and joy she shared when she, Shirley and Geri went to such great lengths to attend my dad's 95th birthday celebration. He recalls that as well, and we're grateful for that special time together.

Thanks for all the fond memories.  All that you taught me and your life's example.  You have been a blessing to me and I am inspired by your indomitable spirit.  You will be missed.

In honor of Aunt Carol's birthday today we had cake and ice cream this evening,complete with candles and a birthday song!  She would have been so proud of our singing! We love you and miss you Aunt Carol.  Happy Birthday - I hope you are dancing the night away with Elvis and your other loved ones in Heaven!

Farewell cousin, the times of passage in life were scattered, but we all came from the same family and roots north of Urbana. with love and remembrance.

Carol was such a big part of our growing up on the farm next to the Dripps. It also helped that we were cousins and spent a lot of family time together.  She inspired me knowing the health issues she endured and never complaining about it.  She will be missed.

Happy Birthday Sister.  May you join up with Mom, Dad, Mildred, Edward, your hero Joe and Kathy.  We'll miss you but will meet again.  Love forever.

I was sorry to hear about Carol's death.  She and I were close friends through most of our school years at Urbana, IA.  I have fond memories  of the times I "slept over" at her house.  I enjoyed being with your family at mealtime.  Her mom was such a good cook.  I'm glad she had her sisters at her side.  I will be praying for you.

So sorry to hear of Carol's death.  She was my neighbor and a friend for many years.  We had many good times and a lot of laughs togeather.  She will be missed my all who knew her.  Our sympathy goes out to the family.
